Sonny John Moore, who goes by the professional name Skrillex and was born on January 15, 1988, is an accomplished American record producer, DJ, singer, songwriter, and musician. Raised in Northeast Los Angeles and Northern California, his musical journey began when he became the lead singer of the American post-hardcore band From First to Last in 2004. He made significant contributions to the band, recording two studio albums with them: "Dear Diary, My Teen Angst Has a Body Count" in 2004 and "Heroine" in 2006. However, in 2007, Skrillex decided to embark on a solo career, marking a turning point in his life.
In late 2007, he started his first tour as a solo artist. After assembling a fresh band lineup, Skrillex joined the Alternative Press Tour, where he supported well-known bands such as All Time Low and The Rocket Summer.
